The Examined vs. Unexamined life…

Socrates said: “The unexamined life isn’t worth living”. I don’t think that people should end their life just because they haven’t examined it, however, I do believe that Socrates was trying to point out the IMPORTANCE of examining your own life.

Epicurus said: “Friends, Freedom and an Analyzed Life” is the highest goals to achieve.

I believe that the VAST majority of people do NOT examine their lives and end up living a mostly reactionary live vs. a pro-active life. As a general rule I believe most people’s “plan” is to “be as comfortable as possible”, and that’s about it. Most, I believe, don’t really have ANY kind of plan.

Who’s got a plan? Care to share?
